Hiram James Williamson
(1810-1836)
Born in Pennsylvania, Hiram Williamson was an unsuccessful candidate for the office of alcalde of Washington-on-the-Brazos. Williamson remained in Bexar after the siege and battle and became a sergeant major of the garrison. He was the highest ranking enlisted man at the Alamo.
