William Daniel Hersee
(1805-1836)
A 31 year old who came to Texas from Louisiana, New York and his birth place of England. Hersee was wounded in the Battle of Bexar. Listed as a sergeant and a member of Captain Casey’s artillery company, Hersee was killed in the final siege.
